The Role of NCC Cadets in shaping India... We all cherish a dream in our hearts. We aspire to be better than the rest, the best of all. Similarly the torch bearers of our country cherished a ream, that India would one day be one of the super powers of the world. It was not merely the dream of our leaders but this was a step towards achieving the goal as our former President D. APJ Abdul Kalam had rightly said, “Dream, dream as much as you can, because it will help you achieve your goal.” So, how do we NCC cadets come into the scenario? I see us as the very backbone of young India. Ever since the National Cadet Corpes started in 1948, it has inculcated in all the cadets, the qualities of a brave soldier, and the virtues like tolerance, unity, love, peace, harmony and many more. This year 50 cadets were enrolled and the training session, held on the BHS ground, the PI staff were sent by the Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Behnot 15 UP Bn NCC to conduct the training activities of the cadets in the presence of the NCC officer, Mr. V. K. Yadav. The cadets have been very well taught to courageously face all the difficulties and strive towards their goal in spite of the all odds. Best of all it teaches them the self confidence and patriotism. These two weapons are our greatest assets. The Literacy health awareness and traffic awareness camps were attended by our cadets in the month of November ‘07. The traffic week rally was also organised by our cadets to create awareness among the people for the need to follow traffic rules for their own safety. As apart of NCC training 12 cadets of our school participated in the NIC (National Integration Camp) which was held at Ghaziabad from January 20 ‘08 to January 31 ‘08. At the camp the boys had a unique chance of interaction with other cadets who had come form all over India. The boys who participated in the camp held at Ghaziabad from January 20-31, 2008 are as follows: Nimesh Singh, Ishan Pandey, Aquib Hussain, Maheep Tripathi, Ashtya Shankar Sri, Syed Suroor Abas, Nitish Singh, Sudanshu Kr. Pranjal Gupta, Darshan Singh, Rameshwar Singh, Anugraha Singh
