The Swimming Competition PDF Print E-mail

'There must be a beginning of any great matter, but the continuing unto the end until it be thoroughly finished yields the true glory'
—Francis Drake

Come August and the pool resounds with an energy packaged until then. There 'is' a reason. Our little swimmers with all their might are preparing for the swimming competition to be held very soon.
As the 27th of August dawned, the pool bore a festive look. The lovely cool breeze, the lush green grass, the flaunt of flags and the serene blue water left no stone unturned in creating an atmosphere of bliss amidst the fire of the competition.
The event began by welcoming the competitors with a thunderous applause and cheer. Over five hundred students gathered to witness the event.
There were participants from classes I - V. Our youngest swimmer Pawan Gupta of I A, stole the show with ins skillful strokes. It was amazing to watch every child fight through the water with no intention of giving up in between. Every little competitor finished the race. Kudos! to them all. Our PTIs Mr Biswas and Mr De'Camp, along with their team of coaches, were given tokens of gratitude. Without their meticulous guidance, our swimmers would never have ventured into the pool leave alone dashing through the deep blue waters to compete with all their might and skill.
True, 'THE START SPELT DETERMINATION AND THE END GLORY'.
The winners were felicitated by Mrs. M. Saunders.
