Teachers' Day

Thank you Teachers—

"For the dawn of each poet,
Each philosopher and king
Begins with teachers
And the wisdom they bring".

   Our little ones enthralled the teachers with their salutation at a thoughtful little assembly, conducted by them on Teachers' Day.
   Class V enlightened the gathering by giving a little information on why Teachers' Day is celebrated. They showed their love and gratitude towards their teachers with meaningful, thank you verses. Classes I and IV presented beautiful songs wising their teachers— "A very Happy Teachers' Day". The assembly was concluded with a short prayer asking God to enable the teachers to light candles of greatness and dissolve the darkness of fear and ignorance.
   Thereafter, all the students went to their respective classrooms and celebrated the day with their teachers in their own special way, breaking the walls of fear and shyness, yet maintaining the decorum. The day ended on a joyful note.
