Independence Day PDF Print E-mail

As in the past when India was not independent, the heroic leaders of our country resolved to save our motherland from the clutches of the British. So now too, we have a strong desire to pay homage to our freedom-fighters and keep our country safe and prosperous. Such a feeling makes us want to celebrate this national festival in a special way.
The Junior School organized a pre-Independence Day celebration on the 14th of August. A very special Assembly was the highlight of the celebration which started with a word of prayer.
Each class then showcased their items and one could see the various freedom-fighters come alive, delivering their speech with vehement gesticulation. These young children will grow up as worthy and responsible citizens of a free India. This can be said with confidence because here at BHS, every child is taught to be responsible in his own little way. Yes, these very children are the future citizens of tomorrow.
The program was then followed by the pledge and finally ended with the National Anthem which the Juniors sang in perfect unison to the accompaniment of the Casio.
Thereafter, classes were held as usual.
