"As in the fourteen line of a sonnet, few strokes of the pencil can hold immensity".
—Laura Knight

The Junior School Art Competition held on the 22nd of July was, in a sense, a tapestry with the thread of different colours, ideas and expressions, woven together to form a complete and whole picture of the multicoloured and beautiful life with which we are blessed.
Our bubbling artists of class I made us rock, and roll as it was 'Party Time'. Cakes, balloons, candles and caps were drawn beautifully. The drawings were so cute that it was fun to watch and judge.
Well, how could our little ones of class II trail behind? They set us 'Dancing in the Rain'. It reminded us of the beautiful poem, "How Beautiful is the rain!..." by H. W. Longfellow. Little ski drivers of class III took us to a world of beauty and exploration through their wonderful drawings, to witness the colourful and exotic marine life. Class IV reminded us of a riddle, 'Which jam cannot be eaten? Yes, 'Traffic jam', a serious problem in today's world. Their paintings definitely alarmed us about it.
Last but not the least, our dynamic and innovative artists of Class V led us to something very 'big' and enjoyable. You've guessed it right - 'The Big Bazaar'. They spell bound us by their fine and flawless paintings, giving us a vivid glimpse of the Big Bazaar.
It was a real feast to the eyes and the judges had a tough time judging.
Our proud-winners were awarded by Mrs. Wankadia during a special Assembly. She was delighted by the awesome imagination portrayed through colour. She praised the topics given to the children, at the spur of the moment. She found them different and novel.
The competition was full of colour, creativity and fun. It was like seeing through a kaleidoscope from the child's preview.
