“Umang 2014, was organized on the occasion of Hindi Diwas with great fanfare at Boys’ High School (BHS) and College. Prof Santosh Kumar Bhaduaria, regional director, Mahatma Gandhi Antar Rashtriya Vishwavidyalaya, Wardha was the chief guest. On his arrival, the chief guest was warmly received by the BHS Principal, Mr. D. A. Luke. The programme commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp followed by invocation of blessings of the Lord Almighty.

The 68th Independence Day was celebrated at the Boys’ High School (BHS) and College with great fanfare and gaiety. The entire school was beautifully decorated with tricolour flags. The atmosphere in the school was surcharged with patriotism. Renowned economist, Prof Girish Chandra Tripathi of the Department of Economics, University of Allahabad and President, Allahabad University Teachers' Association was the chief guest.
The two-day Inter House Swimming Championship-2014 which commenced on August 19, 2014 at Boys’ High School and College Swimming Pool concluded on August 20, 2014. The competition was held in four categories – Sub Junior (class 1-5), Junior (Class 6, 7 and 8), Middle (Class 9 and 10), Senior (Class 11 and 12). The Best Swimmers for all the four categories were Ayush Singh, Swapnil Sen, Divya Prakash and Parth Goswamy, respectively. The overall Championship Trophy won by Blue House with 187 points, followed by Red House with 135 points and Yellow House with 116 points. This was the third successive year for the Blue House to win the trophy. This year, new records were created by Swapnil Sen in 25m Freestyle, 50m Freestyle and 25m Breast Stroke, Harshit Nath in 25m Backstroke, Divya Prakash in 50m Freestyle, Parth Goswamy in 50m Breaststroke.
The newly chosen team of office-bearers of the Boys’ High School (BHS) and College for the academic session 2014-15 was sworn in at a colourful investiture ceremony held in the beautifully decorated Middle School Hall here with fanfare and gaiety on Friday. Lt Col. Deepak Parashar, Administrative Officer, 15 Bn. UP NCC was the chief guest on this occasion.Immaculately dressed chosen badge-holders marched in unison with pride and a sense of accomplishment. The ceremony started with a reading from the Holy Bible by Mr. J. Lawrence. Hereafter, the Principal of BHS, Mr. D. A. Luke accorded a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Lt. Col. Deepak Parashar, Administrative Officer, 15 UP Bn. NCC, Rev. Gabriel Daud, Secretary of the Allahabad High School Society, students and teachers.
