The Boys' High School & College today stands proud and tall among the educational institutions of the city. The enviable and distinguished fruit of 149 years of meticulous hard labour is now ripe as it marches ahead, leaving behind in its wake hordes of gaping mouths and incredulous eyes. It is the only school in Allahabad to provide compulsory computer education till class VIII and and as an optional subject till class XII. The most well-equipped computer lab in town provides a much-needed impetus to the students to bring their cyber skills to the fore, thus turning Computer Science from the dreaded hydra-headed monster of a subject, as it is perceived to be, into a much-loved and coveted one. |
