It is for the first time in the history of Boys’ High School (BHS) and College, that the Principal’s Day culminated with ‘Andrew’ which in Greek means “brave and full of valour”. The Church of Georgia regarded Saint Andrew as the first preacher of Christianity and, since the Principal, Mr. David Andrew Luke shares his middle name with Saint Andrew, hence, the Principal’s Day was celebrated on Saint Andrew’s Day on November 30.
The Commemorative Postage Stamp, First Day Covers and Presentation Packs which were released by the Governor on Boys' High School will be on sale from Monday 11th Nov 2013 onwards. The Commemorative Postage Stamp, First Day Covers and Presentation Packs can be purchased from the School Main Office during the break and after school between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The prices of the above mentioned are given hereunder:-
Boys’ High School (BHS) and College celebrated its Founder’s Day with much fanfare and éclat. On this occasion, an impressive Thanksgiving Service was held at the historic All Saints’ Cathedral. The Thanksgiving Service was attended by Principals, teachers and students of Boys’ High School (BHS) and College, its annexe, Holy Trinity School (HTS) and Girls’ High School (GHS) and College. The Chairman of the schools, Rt. Rev. Collin C Theodore, Moderator’s Commissary, Diocese of Lucknow, Church of North India was the Chief Guest.
