BHS won the North Zone finals of RBIQ

In an exemplary exhibition of their talent, the students of Boys’ High School (BHS) and College, Atulesh Jha and Aman Srivastava brought laurels not only to the institution but also to this holy city of Sangam. They bagged the first position in the North Zone Finals of Reserve Bank of India Quiz Competition held in Kolkata.

 

The Bishop, Diocese of Lucknow, Church of North India, Rt. Rev. Morris Edgar Dan, felicitated the students for this great achievement. Elated with the success of the students, the Principal of BHS, Mr. D. A. Luke congratulated the team and teachers for their hard work to be on top of the ladder in the North Zone of All India RBI Quiz competition.

The country was divided into four zones and over 3300 schools participated in the quiz competition. The BHS team represented by Atulesh Jha and Aman Srivastava proved their mettle and class by winning the pre-quarter and quarter-final round held at Vigyan Parishad, Allahabad on October 12, 2012 last.

After qualifying the pre-quarter and quarter final rounds, the team held the flag of their Alma Mater fluttering high in the North Zone. In the final round at the All India RBI Quiz Contest, they proved their mettle and stood seventh in the order of merit. The quiz will be televised on Zee Business on December 22, 2012 at 8.00 pm.
