Exhibition on Wildlife PDF Print E-mail

I pluck the flower,
And still it showers its smile,
I hew the sandal
Ad it emits its perfume all the while,
The water I boil
Ad still it begins to dance,
I trample the soil
Ad still it gives me a chance,
I ignore nature
Ad yet she plays her part.

As this world enters the 22nd century, humanity faces one of the gravest challenges which will decide the destiny of our survival. The overall degradation of environment due to callousness and socio-economic constraints has pushed us to the point where our priorities in daily life will decide the future of coming generations.

Therefore, in order to sensitize the students and parents alike. An exhibition was organised on the 7th of May 2010, by the students of middle school to highlight the significance of conserving diversity, the theme chosen was ‘National parks in India’. The objective of this theme was to apprise and spread awareness of the importance of forest and its resources. The whole competition was divided into charts, models and computer aided presentations. The students participated in full enthusiasm and vigour and there efforts were appreciated by one and all.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. V. Massey, Incharge, College Section, who stressed on the need for inculcating values and developing an attitude which is in harmony with nature, he appreciated the hard work of both teachers and students and extended his heartfelt gratitude to the parents who came in large numbers to argument the cause.
