The four-day ‘Open Aquatic Championship’ of the Boys’ High School (BHS) and College commenced at BHS Swimming Pool from July 13, 2011. The Aquatic Championship was inaugurated by the BHS Principal, Mr. David A Luke.

More than 150 students from ten educational institutions, nine from Allahabad and one from Dehradun, are taking part in the competition. The participating schools are the host, Boys’ High School and College, Holy Trinity School, Girls’ High School and College, St. Joseph’s College, St. Mary’s Convent, Delhi Public School, Maharishi Patanjali Vidya Mandir, Bal Shiksha Niketan, Allahabad Public School from Allahabad and Welham Boys’ School from Dehradun.

The swimming competition among the boys and girls group of class I to XII are being held in five age categories, that is, (i) under 8 years, (ii) under 10 years, (iii) under 12 years, (iv) under 14 years and (v) above 14 years. The final competition will be held on July 17, 2011.
