The 62nd Republic Day was celebrated with much fanfare and gaiety at the Boys’ High School and College on Wednesday. The celebrations commenced with the unfurling of the national flag by the Principal, Mr CV Innes followed by the singing of the National Anthem.

He also stressed on maintaining a balance among all faculties that go to make a good human being.

Expressing concern over the decline in the moral values, he asked the students to learn to follow their own mind and conscience and must raise their voice for the right cause. He asked them not be a silent spectators but must unite and re-ignite the spirit of India.

He also appealed to the teachers to develop the emotional strength and character of the students and inspire and invoke in them the same moral and ethical values which helped our forefathers in keeping the country united in times of deep crisis.
