September 14, 2009 can indeed be entered in the annals of BHS as a red lettered day as this was the day BHS soared ahead of 15 other schools to clinch the coveted Inter School Bournvita Confidents Minds Quiz Competition Trophy

The preparations began way ahead. Boys were carefully selected from classes 3rd to 8th and then the teachers took them under their wings, coaching and guiding them to make them do their best.
On the 8th of September, the much awaited intra-school round was held. Four teams having one participant each from class 3 to class 8 took part. It indeed was a unique experience for the participants as well as the audience—the students from class 6 to class 8. The boys were divided into four teams, 5-Star, Gems, Fruit & Nut and Perk. The boys put in their best and the Gems team won. There were sufficient prizes for the audience too and chocolates were given away in a sumptuous quantity to boys from the audience with correct answers. Everyone was eager and completely involved!
The final team was chosen and trained diligently and soon the D-Day arrived!
The quiz was brilliantly hosted by Mr. Stephen Samuel, a host from Derek O’Brien & Associates and after the preliminary round, six schools out of fifteen were chosen to participate on the stage. There were many rounds held, the audio, visual and the question answer rounds. All the teams were quite good. The audience participation was exemplary and after an intense quizzing session, BHS emerged the winner with a substantial lead. The team comprising of Anant Chandra, Prateek Agrawal, AtuI Pandey and Ayushmani Chaudhary was then presented with certificates, medals and the BQC trophy by the respected Head of the College Section of BHS, Mr. V. Massey. It indeed was an exhilarating experience for all involved. The students are looking forward to another such rich and educating experience.
